Default SIRIUS Store Dilemma...

OK, here's the situation...

Earlier this month I placed an order for a Stiletto 100 at the SIRIUS Store and have already received it...it's unopened, BTW. I used the AAA 20% in addition to the one of the coupons codes floating around which brought it to around $277 ($270 if the free shipping was applied like it was supposed to be).

Because of this coupon I now have the chance to pick-up one for around $248 if it's combined with the AAA discount!

Here's my question:

Is there a chance I could call them up and have them add the "HOLIDAY20" coupon to my order? I was already going to contact them anyway because the free shipping was not applied to my previous order -and- I wanted the Howard Fist keychain but forgot to order the bundle package!

Would I be better off just returning the one I have now and ordering again? Guess I'm basically asking which route would be less of a pain in the ass to go? Haven't exactly dealt with them since purchasing a Sportster Replay, and judging by all the EXCELLENT REVIEWS around here......

Am I drunk or are you talking about a $30 difference?? I wouldn't pick my socks up off the floor for $30, let alone sending something back in.

A little intoxicated maybe. I'm talking about that in addition to the fist keychain I missed out on. Whatever the discount happens to be is pretty much irrelevant because it's not really about the money but more the principle of the thing. I'm just the kind of guy that'll be bothered by this for a long time if I don't get the best possible discount I had the chance to get. Maybe that's crazy.

Anyway, I'm getting the impression that saving thirty bucks and getting a keychain is NOT worth the hassle of dealing with them. Are they really that bad to deal with?

Dude, you already gotten a great deal! Your worried about $30 and a key chain? Count your blessings, you have a great radio, at a great deal (Wish I would have had those coupons!)...

What you just looking for misery now days? How many threads have you read about how screwed up these folks are. You are talking about sending it back, waiting God knows how long (If Ever) on a refund. Then placing another order to save $30 which may not ship for months or it may ship the next day. There is ZERO consistancy. I also very SIRIUSLY doubt they are going to let you combine two promotions anyway.

I agree with NFL-Fan count your blessings and enjoy your Stiletto.

Alright don't your panties in a wad people! I get the point! I'll keep the one I have and count my blessings. It's just that I've always had good luck dealing with them in the past, that's all. Sorry to hear jedix and the rest of you have had such a horrible experience.

Well, they did with the previous order.

I am however still calling them to see if they'll A) credit the free shipping, B) apply the coupon to my existing order and C) mail me a keychain separately (preferably next day UPS)...otherwise that $30 and keychain will haunt me for the rest of my life. Hey, you never know. Why am I hearing laughter all of a sudden?
