Default Can I record during the middle of the song and have the whole song in my library?

In other words, if a song has played for a minute and I hit the record button will I be able to have the entire song in my library? The reason I ask is because sometimes I'll cut into a song when it's about 15 seconds in and I'll hit record. When I go back to the library it records those 15 seconds that I originally lost. I think that's a pretty cool feature.

Yes

(see)
Sticky: Official Stiletto FAQ

Q: Why did only a portion of a song record?
A: In order for STILETTO 100 to record the entire song you must have been tuned to the channel when the song began. If you tune to a channel part way through a song and press the "Love" button you will record the portion of the song that was available.

I think the answer should be no based on what you are asking. If you tune to a station and you start listening to the song 15 seconds in to it, if you push the love button, then you should record only the part of the song that you heard (from 15 seconds in, to the end of the song) , not from the beggining of the actual song.

If you've been listening to a channel and decide you like a song midway, try this:

While the song is playing live, hit the left arrow button to take you back to the beginning and hit the heart... It "usually" records the song whole - but only if the song was still playing live when you started... (even midway)

i dont think it will work if you just tuned into the channel tho

OK, what I was saying is this. If you heard the song from the beggining, then you can "love" it and it will record from the begining. If you tuned in to the song half way through it, if you "love" it, you will only be recording the part that you actually heard. you will not record the part of the song that played before you tuned in.
If I was to ask you to record a part of the song that you never heard played, it would be tough.. same thing here.
