Default Stiletto docking options...

I realize this is a shot in the dark but has anyone tried docking the stiletto in the universal boombox(SUBX1)?
I know I COULD use the aux in...
I think the contacts would match however I think there would be an issue with the size
Anyone tried this?
Thanks

It more than likely would work if you removed the battery.

Many people did this with the universal home kit before the Stiletto home docks arrived.

Thanks for the reply MM...so do you have to take the battery out with the homedock/cardock/stiletto boombox?
Will docking like that(no battery) cause a problem?
I already have the subx1.....tryin to save some $$ here....

Nope. For the Stiletto accessories you can use either battery. I know this for a fact for the home and car kit.

I do not have the boombox or executive station, but I bet you can use either battery.

I don't think the universal boombox works on the Stiletto. But if you buy the boombox, home/car docks and Soloist, you do not have to remove the battery and can use either the slim or regular size battery while docked.

I don't recommend buying docks that were not designed for the Stiletto.

Thanks guys....I got one more question....when the stiletto10 is new out of the box do you need to hook it up to a pc to download anything or can you just turn it on and rock n roll?

You can just turn it on and rock and roll. However at some point you probably do need to install the MSS Software and hook it up to the computer to download any ZAP updates available. These generally include bug fixes.

do you need a computer to get new updates? I though you could do that over wifi too.

The S10 doesn't have Wifi... So yes you must connect it via the USB cable to a computer and install the MSS software to do updates.
