Yeah, having terrestrial rocks. but even the regular sat reception is pretty great with the docks.

I cry foul for those that get a terrestrial signal in their homes!

We need ability to record via wifi!!! I mean really, what's the difference between hearing via terrestrial signal or wifi? I can still "hear" it. I could care less how it's distributed to me because the end result is EXACTLY the same either by terrestrial or wifi. Makes no sense to me...

I think the difference is number of channels. See if you can get sports on the wifi for your stiletto.

Isn't there a difference in the bandwidth that would effect music between WiFi and Satellite?

So, you are saying the number of channels should prohibit me from recording via wifi?

Are you saying the bandwidth would keep me from recording via wifi? I think the bandwidth is even slightly lower using wifi. I could be wrong...

Bottom line, this is a stupid RIAA restriction because "hearing" is "hearing".

You cannot record Wifi. You can pay an upcharge for upgraded Internet music but it apparently does not upgrade to the Stiletto. I was wondering if there is a difference in the Stilleto WiFi music and Stiletto live Satellite music.

No, he is saying that you don't get all the channels via Wifi that you do via the Sat. I don't see him saying anything about this meaning you'd be prohibited from recording. However, we have known since the day the Stiletto was released that Wifi recording was not available and that this was more than likely a RIAA concession. I still think if the plan is to add full 128kb streaming via the Stiletto. Allowing Wifi recording would basically mean you could record songs at almost the same bitrate as you could buy them for and the RIAA just isn't going to allow this.

We can gripe about it all we want, but I don't see this changing. Personally would I like to be able to record via Wifi, you darn tooting I would, but I just see no point in complaining about.

The only thing I can see beneficial from the complaining is if someone from Sirius reads through the forums and sees people frustrated that they can't record via wifi. By seeing some complaints perhaps they would consider it a good argument to bring to the RIAA and we could get wifi recording in a future device. I'm not holding my breath for it to be available on the Stiletto.

Wishful thinking I suppose... Never hurts to bring something meaningful up every now and again just to get people all riled up. One day we "might" get this feature.
