Well....I was enjoying it fine until I decided to take the battery out and put it in my universal boombox(the only way it would fit)...now I got no sound at all I even tried just the headphones. I put the battery back in (after turning it off) put it back in the home dock and now nothin!!

Sometimes it turns the volume all the way down when you do that. It happened to me once, I posted, and then felt like an ass when I realized what happened.

Yup..call me dumb! That's exactly what happend...the volumn was down! When something like that happens my first reaction is to look for somethin technical that I did wrong when in reality most times its just somethin silly!
So far so good with the s10....I'm gonna set up some recordings soon....I'm sure glad santa came early this year
If this thing works as well as I hope I'm gonna drop my other sub (next year) and make the s10 my all in one sirius experience.

Me too! The first thing I did was hop on the computer. Then I realized what happened but I couldn't delete my thread!

Do most SL100/SL10 owners keep their battery installed when listening with the car/home/bbox applications? When I remove my SL10 from the docks I put it in sleep mode and it powers back up by itself...I assume its supposed to do this...if I take the battery out it goes to "off" type mode(longer to power up)
I guess I'm asking #1 battery or no in docks. And #2 should I put the thing in sleep mode before swithing power options?
Thanks...

I leave the battery on when mines in the car dock, the Soloist, or the Boombox.

I put it to sleep before placing it in them, or removing it from one of them.

Yea I was thinkin most people do. Does yours power up after you remove it from the dock(s)?
One more thing...sometimes my SL10 is left in the dock w/battery after it has a full charge. I'm thinkin this is ok...I mean you can't "over charge" it right? I'm only talkin like 3-4 hrs after full charge.
