Default Wifi with Coffee

I decided a needed a break so I took my stiletto to a local coffee shop where they had free Wifi. I enjoyed my Latte ( skim milk two splenda's) but more enjoyed reading the paper and listening to a Howard replay.

I could of sat there all day.

I highly recommend doing this once in a while. It's a good break.

For those in the Reston VA area. Go to Greenberry's It's in the Home Depot shopping center the corner of Reston Parkway and Baron Cameron Ave. There were no passwords on their router my stiletto connected immediately. There were actually 4 others there with laptops. I actually saw they had a linksys router hung on the ceiling.

Most importantly, The coffee was great!

Anyone else done a stiletto at a coffee shop?

Yes I have. When on the road and finished with appointments early, sometimes instead of just going back to the hotel, I'll find a local coffeshop and bring my laptop and the stiletto. NOthing like firing off emails and "working" while listening to Howard, Bubba, or whatever.

It is a nice break. People look at you really funny when you're laughing by yourself.

I've never even used the WiFi on my Stiletto. All my neighbors are smart enough to password protect their wireless.

I do this at least once a week. It is fantastic to be able to have a nice coffee blend and relax listening to some music or talk programming. The wifi feature is just fantastic in my opinion. I have used it at deli's, restaurants as well. But all that great aroma in a coffee shop make it just great. In fact the one I visit the most has a fire place too and I always try to sit by it when its cold enough. So, now you've got good coffee, great tunes and a nice warm fire. I couldn't ask for more!

I checked with my local Community Center before asking for my Stiletto for Christmas - they have an open WiFi connection there. I'm looking forward to working out while listening to Howard live again - like I used to a couple of years ago! But even better now - when I can't get to the gym early I'll be able to listen to the replays, or a recording anytime of the day.

If my local Carribou Coffee was open right now, I'd be there listening to my Stiletto and slurping down some Java.

I try to do it once a week! The only problem is the local coffee shops are caribou or starbucks and they both have secured networks. I end up using the radio replay, or connect to sirius on my laptop.

Hey all FYI great forum - it has helped me a good deal already with the stiletto setup, although I find the device very intuitive.

I have a T-Mobile Hotspot/Starbucks WiFi Account. Of course, they broadcast the "tmobile" SSID. Are there provisions in the Stiletto to log on to the network? I've searched through this forum and could not find any reference.
TIA

No logon possible.. You have to find a place where they don't require a userid and password to logon.

Thanks for the reply; do you think Sirius will upgrade their F/W to support this, even if it is simply through a "syncable" WiFi profile?
