First I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Xmas!! About the battery, do you know if Sirius or anyone else sells a battery adapter so that when you are using one battery the other battery can be charging. Overall this is one of the best and have convinced alot of others to get one. My wife can't wait to get the sportster 4 hooked up in the Expedition. One more thing is the PIE adapter that much better then the FM modulator? Again Merry Xmas!!

Put me on record for another antenna option. I live near a repeater (I get about 3/4 full bars) and still lose signal at times. I'm not going get into the comfort factor of the antenna/headphones its well worn ground! However anthor antennna (on the xm idea of wearable) would imo help this product tremendously.

I don't think the antenna headphones help with repeater signal so you may be wasting your time wearing them.

The Home Dock will charge both batteries at the same time - one in the Stiletto and the second one in the back compartment of the dock. You can also leave one battery in the back compartment and take the Stiletto with you to use.

Really...I didn't know that. When I use them my signal is better...is that because I'm just getting SAT signal? Someone said there is actually an antenna right inside the unit is that true and if so could that be improved with an update? Or is it a hardware thing?

Enhancement/Add-On product - Bluetooth, with the stereo headset profile.

I use a set of Motorola BT headphones with the Motorola DC800 adapter connected to my S50 home dock, and it cuts off the audio when my cell phone rings, then returns to the S50 when the call is done. I also stream Sirius from my Moto-Q to the headphones.

The iPod world has a ton of add-on products to support it. Maybe Sirius should let someone else make some products, and not just cases and clips.

Hey Dab, I appreciate having a knowledgable moderator on this board, do you know if these bug fixes will be through a firmware update?

Bugs
Add a Clock
Add a auto shut off that is optional
Modify the head phone plug to be able to plug the power cord as well
Charge indicator

Thanks,
Jason

Yes, there is an indicator, however, it would be nice if it were available when the unit were powered down.

With the weather being cold right now, I'll go to sleep in my truck running and with the radio on. I'll wake up and the radio will beturned off. They should make a way to disable this four hour feature. And it should also be able to turn on and record scheduled shows even in the car dock.

I don't think they were taking the truckers into consideration when they thought of this. Our trucks have four large batteries, and a 5v radio won't hurt them. Even if the engine isn't running.

And they really need to have the time and date on the screen. It would really help me because my stereo doesn't show the time when it's on, so I got used to looking at the time on my Streamer GTR...

Hi Jason,

Let me just say that some of those things have been openly requested and discussed. What will be incorporated in the upcoming updates it hard to say. I suspect the next update will be mainly to deal with bug issues. Once we get that big bug issue update out, I suspect the next one may include some of the feature request we have made on things like the clock. It would be a pleasant surprise to get that in the next update, but I don't look for it.

New features I would like to see:
1. On my XM My-fi I used to hit the XM to go button to record and keep it on while I pump gas with the car off. I can't do this with the Stiletto because the antenna needs power and the car dock goes to sleep. XM radios powered the antenna with battery.
2. XM also had the "tune select" that would let you pick your 20 favorite artists and when one would come on any channel it would notify you and let you switch to that channel with one click.
3. Ability to record across channels. For example, when I am driving and recording one station I have to stay on that station to continue recording. If I change I have to end the recording. Why can't I continue to record and each channel I change it records that channel?

While this note sounds negative, Sirius sound quality is the best and the Stiletto has many more features than my old XM My-fi not to mention NASCAR!
Thanks Sirius!

2. the s10 has this (from what I have heard), the s100 does not.. I thought this was due to some legal issue.
3. To record one thing while listening to another, you would need two tuners, which would make the unit bigger.
