Default Thank you XAN- It works!!

Like XAN, I have found that wifi works when you disable the turbo page as descibed in XAN's link. Once in a while it will still time out, but will eventually work if you change the channel. Don't be scared to disable the turbo as it comes right back on automatically after resetting the modem.

I haven't had to open any ports or anything like that. Just broadcast ssid, mixed mode, no mucking with mac filtering or anything.

Thumbs up

Right on!
Also I set my router back to mixed mode b/g without any problems on wifi.
I put this as a shortcut on my desktop so I can quickly enabel and disable turbopage.

I think browsing will probly suffer - we'll see.......
Thanks for the tip. I turned off Turbo Page in the 7000 Modem and my Sl100 now works great on WiFi. Have not noticed any real browsing slowdown. Thanks again!

Does anyone have a DW 6000? I'm still on that older modem. Does it have asimilar Turbo Page setting that can be disabed? If so, how do I access it? So close....

Click this ;

Read the rest of this;
".... Can the system be set to not use the Web Acceleration Proxy at the NOC? (#13533)

Yes, there is a method to set up the present DW6000/DW7000/HN7x00S software to force the unit to bypass the Web Acceleration (Turbo Page) Proxy at the NOC. The following discussion is geared toward the DW7000 & HN7x00S, but the bypass method works equally well on the DW6000....."

Hope this works for you.
