Default Stiletto 10 vs. 100?

Hey folks!

I got a Stiletto for Christmas. While I was hoping for a 100, I'm very thankful for the 10 and I love it.

Although part of me was considering exchanging it and ponying up extra cash to get the 100. I'm not entirely sure though. I'm not sure if I'll use Internet Radio all that often, and recording isn't the biggest priority. 10 Hours enough for me to get 2 stern shows, which is enough.

I don't really record music, and have an iPod for MP3s etc.

So I'm thinking a 10 will do nicely for me. So far I'm loving it. But I am curious of anyone else wrestled with the 10 vs 100 dilema and ultimately ended up going with the 10. Just curious.

Thanks! and also this site rocks! I've been a troll for years and just never had much interesting to say until now.

I decided on the 10. It sounds like it is all you need. I have a 20 GB iAudio so I didn't really need the extra space, and I will only record a show or 2 at a time..

Just keep the 10 until the next major advancement in radios comes along..

I agree with you. Unless you will use the Wi-Fi the 10 will be perfect.

Unless you're going to record more than 1-2 shows, use wifi or listen to MP3's, the 10 is for you! Use the extra cash to buy yourself something nice.

WiFi is a great feature that I use all the time in my house. I plug my radio directly into one of 3 stereos around the house to listen to my radio. The battery last much longer on Wifi than satellite too. Especially if you are not intersted in recording, its a great way to listen without worring about antenna aiming. I keep on each stereo a plug that plugs into the earphone jack. Connect to internet and it's perfect. Also in the bedroom I have a clock radio that accepts an aux input as well. With the clock radio I get the added advantage of a sleep timer and clock. This option I took after not being happy with the soloist.

I did just the opposite , I bought a 100 not researching the 10 and in reality the 10 would of been fine . I have lived with a MYFI and XM for the last couple years and that was perfect until NASCAR left and I think the 10 would of better for me .

I too kicked it around and settled on the 10. I am very happy with it as the other features while nice, didn't justify $100 to me.

I think in the long term you'll appreciate the larger amount of memory and wifi even if you aren't using it now. I sort of look at the $100 additional charge as a bargain for the extra missing on the S10. The small amount of space for most is a real deal killer.

Default s10 is justified

I went back and forth for a month and decided on the S10. Outside of my house, most wifi hotspots are paid services so the wifi is a "meh". I run a second sirius unit in the house, 20gig ipod, and stream internet feed from my PC to my stereo.

the s10 is fine for me and saved me $150 (cdn)... besides... if I had more hours for recording I'd never listen to it all anyway... the s10 is ALWAYS loaded with fresh new content! That's a good thing
