Default My Stiletto Modification + Free "Home Kit"

The first wire goes to my boombox..it hooks in like headphones but it has a red a white hookup on the other side. The second hookup is the charger, and the third is the antenna headset. I sanded down a bit of both the charger and the antenna headset to make it fit. Now i can use the antenna headset and charge at the same time, just like they didn't want us to.

The boombox that my stiletto plays through.

My antenna headset that i only use for the antenna.....gets pretty good reception. Every few hours it needs adjusted.

Well I'm glad that works for you. I thought about doing that at first, but glad I decided against it. My home dock has already paid for itself. Just because it gets used everyday. I have it docked next to my computer screen. I like having the Stiletto standing up in the dock. It's easier to do everything that way. View the screen. Syncing to the computer is much easier with the dock. Having the remote control makes for really easy access to change your listening choice. I don't usually use the battery when it is in the dock anymore, but it's nice to be able to charge both batteries at the same time. As I did in the beginning when I first got the dock. So as most home dock owners would agree I beleive. The home dock has many advantages! I'm curious why you choose to set it up that way? Certainly anyone who could put out money for a Stiletto. Should be able to handle a little more for a home dock purchase. What exactly was your thinking on that?

i didnt get the home dock for christmas only the car dock....and i have wifi but i like to record. So i hooked it up to my boombox to be able to hear what is playing, then if i like it I hit the love button. I dont have i battery in my stiletto either...when its plugged in it doesnt need one. Yea i guess the remote is nice but i dont mind getting up to record or change the channel. As for syncing to the computer. its pretty simple to just plug it in the usb with the cord that came with the stiletto.

interesting! One of my biggest complaints is not being able to listen with the antenna headphones and charge at the same time! But now that I see sanding is possible without screwing up the headphones... I may have to do that myself!

Question

Any know what sort of connector I could solder onto a clipped antenna/headphone wire and then connect to dot or home antenna?

Edit:
