Default Home Dock Volume Bug

Ok. Here's one I haven't seen yet...

When my Stiletto 10 is in my Home Dock, the volume will not advance to the upper rail. It stops about 3/4 of the way through the display bar. It just started doing this yesterday. I've had the dock for about 3 weeks. I tried unplugging the dock from all cables, pulling battery from Stiletto, and then restarting. I've also tried the "Reset and Erase" option in the Device Settings menu when it was plugged into the dock. Nothing I've tried has helped...

Functionally it doesn't matter because I can get plenty of volume range from my PC speakers (which is what my dock audio output is connected to). It's just odd behavior that seemingly started randomly...

i have the stiletto 100 so i'm not sure if this works or if this is the problem but the stiletto comes out of the box and also after it is reset with a volume limiter at 75%, not 100%. go to settings, audio, and find volume limit or something like that. then turn it up to 100. is it a coincidence that its set at 75% and the bar only goes to 3/4?

3/4 = .75 = 75%

Default Car Dock Volume Bug

I have this same problem with my S100 and the car kit. The volume will only go up to about 75%, but if I take my S100 and put it in my wife's car kit the volume will go all the way up to 100%.

Any Ideas?

I do know none of the docks I own let the volume go up 100%. I have 2 home and one Car dock. The only way it goes to 100% is undocked.

I can pull the unit out of the dock then turn it up to 100% volume. As soon as I re-dock, it goes back down.

I'm thinking it's built into the firmware to not overmodulate or something.

It is not a bug, I think it is something with the design.
