Cool New Idea for Portable Antenna

So over the holiday season I got the distinct privledge of riding in my parents minivan during a trip from Atlanta to Nashville.

I was able to clip the Stiletto to the visor and get good reception on the way up. On the way back, I had to sit in the back with no good view of the sky. I did everything from sticking the Stiletto in the Cup Holder to holding the antenna headphones against the window.

When I held the antenna headphones to the window I got the best reception. So I thought, What if there was a small antenna (like the size of the headphone ones or smaller) that could be suction-cupped to the window? This would work not just for the car, but I could see commuters using it in trains or airplanes.

I figure it would take months before a company could put this on the market, but what if one of you techies could figure out how to convert the headphone antennas into something like this. I think a lot of us would find this useful.

I'm working on a document with VDCHawk that outlines how to disassemble the antenna headphones, not for this purpose but for attaching more comfortable earbuds to it.

I often thought this portable anteanna would be useful with a suction cup for windows or velcro for inside hats or attachment to backpacks etc.

I know there are other uses for this as well. Stay tuned to this forum for the document later probably this weekend.
