Default Recording in sleep mode w/home dock

I haven't seen this question anywhere, if it's already been asked, I apologize.
When I put the Stiletto in sleep mode to record in the morning, is there any way for me to wake it up without losing the recording?

You question is a little fuzzy to me. Are you talking about while it is in the middle of recording or you mean you set the scheduled recording, then put it to sleep, now you want to listen it before the scheduled recording? Even if you put it back to sleep prior to the recording session it will record.

If this scenario is what you are asking you certainly can. However, you cannot wake it up or take it out of its recording/sleep mode while recording. Well check that, to think about it, I've simply never tried it, so I can really say you cannot, but I don't think you can. I'll have to try it.

Waking up the Stiletto has NO EFFECT on your scheduled recording. HOWEVER; if you put it back to sleep during this recording you lose the rest of the recording.

2 things concerning this -

1) Yes you can wake the Stiletto while recording - use the power switch, slide it down and let it go. When I was off for Christmas Vacation I would wake up around 9am, wake the Stiletto, go to the Library and restart my Howard recording to see what I missed while sleeping.

2) If you connect the line out to a source (speakers, radio, etc.) the Stiletto will start playing whatever is being recorded. Even though the unit is asleep, you can still get sound out of the unit. I have my home dock connected to my clock radio with a cable, when my alarm goes off in the morning I can wake up to Howard playing on the alarm clock. Recording starts at 6am, my alarm goes off at 6:15am.

I recorded in sleep mode last night and this morning, the recording ended at 11. At 11:05 I tried to wake it and nothing. I had to remove the battery to get it to turn back on, and I lost my recording. Has anyone else had this problem? It happened to me once before.
