Default Sirius SLEC1 Executive Case

I was thinking about buying this but I already have the SLPK1 (case with armband). Will the Stiletto fit inside the executive case while still in the SLPK1?

I don't think it expands wide enough to fit especially if you have the belt clip on. That button sticks out and I just think it might be too tight. But you could always order one and try it. Most of these guys have a 30 day return policy.

Is this case really worth the money? The price is a little steep. It fits in my pocket just fine (i have a protective overlay on)

I don't have one of these, but if you are going to be carrying it around, you need to protect it from drops with some sort of case. I would think this one would be too big to stick in your pocket. That overlay will do nothing but protect it from scratches. If you acidently have it slip out of your pocket it is pretty much bye, bye Stiletto....

I have one of the SL-SC1, does not lend itself well to docking, but it helps protect it. For those of us that carry it in a pocket the silicon case helps keep it in the pocket.

I bought it from Crutchfield for $30 with free shipping. I will eventually use the Stiletto in my car (still using Xact Replay) and figured that this case will be good to transport the unit from my car to my backback because I plan on using the radio on campus. I don't want to scratch it up in my pocker because the case I have for the unit does not protect the entire unit.

Get these as well:

They help protect the screen from scratches.

I picked up one of the exec cases and one of the regular cary cases too (the black and grey flap over thing that looks like it was designed in the 80's).

The exec case is much nicer looking when you have to wear it on your belt, but the regular cary case is (ugly but) awesome for everyday travel. You really need some paded protection for your Stiletto.

The exec case is pretty darned snug. I can't picture anything but the Stiletto fitting in it. Be careful though, the antenna nub on the top is a litttle bit exposed if it were to fall the wrong way.

The executive case I ordered holds a lot of stuff. It is the SL-EC1.

Do I really need the overlays? I have a leather case already and am going to use the executive case. I won't have the Stiletto in my pocket.

The leather case does not protect the screen. The leather is cut out around the screen. The overlays keep the screen from being scratched.

My leather case covers the screen.

Does the silicon case?

I have the one with the Flap over the front. The flap is removable. But the leather is cut-out around the face of the display. That is why I use those protective overlay's

Default leather case

I have the leather case with the removable flap, it's awesome. I suggest getting this and also the protective overlays. By the way how long do you guys leave on an overlay before swithching it to another one?
