Default Questions-Home Dock Volume and XP Drivers

I searched forums and did not see this covered, but apologize if this is redundant.

* Volume is constant while in the home dock, if I have earphones in the "line out" to listen while docked, the device will not respond to volume control even though the indicator goes up and down.

* I have the newest Sirius studio installed, does not recognize the Stiletto, thinks it is an "MPT" Device...cannot transfer content from harddrive to stiletto.

Thanks for any advice!

The line-out on the home dock was not really designed to work with headphones or earphones. Have you tried computer speakers to see how the volume control is? I just did a test using some headphones on mine and while I can hear the sound the different between max volume and low volume is only slight. I would assume this because the line-out really needs and amplied speaker with volume control. There has been a bug noted that sometimes when switching docks the volume will be turned down all the way or there will be no sound, until you shut down and restart. This bug should be fixed in the next ZAP update due out soon.

You will not be able to transfer directly from the hard drive to the device. The Stiletto does not set itself up as a USB Mass Storage Device, but does set itself up as a MPT Device and therefore you must use either the MSS software or Yahoo Music Jukebox to transfer music files to the device. Does the Stiletto show up in either of these programs? If so it is working correctly. It will NOT show up as a hard drive in My Computer.
