I think the drivers are running Windows XP on the new intel Mac's.

Everything I've read says there is no support for mac's.

Even if you had an Intel iMac (that's my main computer) - you'd need to be running Parallels or Bootcamp to use Sirius' drivers. I fortunately have access to a Windows based machine (my daughter's) so I use that for my Stiletto. Kind of a pain keeping to libraries on two different machines, but that's what i've got to do for now.

I'm sure Apple would allow Sirius to make drivers / software for their OS, it's probably just a matter of numbers for Sirius. 95% of the market is Windows, only 5% is Apple. They went for the largest chunk of the market and ignored us Apple fans.

Post Updates via WiFi

Hey Libra10

I use a G4 mac mini and therefore cannot use the Stiletto with it. Hopefully they will make the Stiletto mac compatible soon.

The WiFi updates are easy. Connect to your WiFi netork, then go to the Service Info screen and you should see the update start automatically within minutes. I did my update last night and it took about 20-30 min. Once it updates, you are instructed to power off the unit and upon reboot, it will install the update. It worked fine and the update has some nice enhancements.

There are programs that support MTP, namely XNJB. However, XNJB does not work with the Stiletto .. I've tried it. Sending a file makes the screen say "Error, Restarting..." or similar. Trying to download a file from it is unsuccessful too. It does seem to detect battery life and the unit name however.

First timer here and proud owner of my Stiletto 100. Droo, I decided to try out XNJB (v 1.4.5) with the latest ZAP updates for the Stiletto and I got it to work. I was able to upload MP3s from my Mac (G5, non-Intel)..haven't tried it on the Intel one yet. Anyone, let me know if you have any questions. I didn't have to do much, other than install XNJB and plug it in.

Just tried it on the Intel Macbook Pro.. Upload works.. Download doesn't.
