dumb question .. why dont you solder a SMB jack to the wire as it attaches to the antenna at the headphones?

I plan on trying this right after I finish moving. Unless someone else wants to try first!

I worried that the antenna headphones might use less current than home and dot need. ?

heh I wish the antenna headset was a buyable accessory.. I'm sure I could break them pretty easily if I used them.

I hope someone is successful in designing something to connect a vehicle antenna to a Stiletto . That will be the determining factor as to if I stay with SIRIUS at this point . If I knew I couldn`t I would of never bought it and all of the docks but thats my fault not educating myself on the product before I bought it . I took it for granted it would be equal to or better than what I had at brand X and for three times the money .

Wink

I think I'm going to cut the headphone cable near the Stiletto end and solder on a 3.5mm jack and a SMB jack. Now do I rip the SMB jack out of my old PNP2 ?

I think www.newark.com sells a solderable SMB connector. Some other places might too.

Touche!

Actually I kinda enjoy the camping-out in nature with no crowds.
But I sure wouldn't want to listen to it on radio!

Well I hope you take your beer with you. . . for when the squirrels scamper past. . . . . or for when other campers run past being chased by bears.

Just curious... what don't you guys like about just using the home dock, which of course has the standard SMB connector for the regular antennas? Are you just looking for something more portable/usable with headphones/etc.?

Thanks...
