I'll keep you all posted.

You've not experienced the other issue that JohnnyCanuck has had right?

I have not had a problem with the unit constantly rebooting at all. Since the update my unit has not crashed once... it used to crash once a day.

The only problem I had after the update was that my signal seemed to be dropping out a ton. I think that was just a coincidence with changing satellite / repeater / overcast skies, because it seems to have gotten better. The places where I used to get a perfect signal have been providing pretty good signals. I just ordered the stilleto boombox, so hopefully the antenna that comes with that will get me back to flawless.

Thanks again for your support DAB!

You guys are NOT going to like this..... (I am going to hide)

I am trying to confirm this now, but it is my understanding that this a changed functionality. In other words in replay mode you will no longer be able to bookmark or add song/artist seeks. Let's not jump just yet, but that appears to be the case.

Just updated Via MSS with no problems. Put stiletto in home dock, stiletto said "updating dock" After that. I then selected satellite radio, stiletto read "Updating Sirius". What does "Updating sirius" mean? Did we get a channel update today?

No the updating SIRIUS is the Baseband update! Has nothing to do with adding new channels. Glad you got updated successfully.

It doesn't really bother me. You can't add song/artist seeks from some of my favorite stations either (i.e. BBC Radio One). The lack of add/seek on Radio One kills me, but I've rationalized that eventually, if you keep looking, your artist or song will pop up on one of the other stations.

Well I hope the others feel as you do, but I have a feeling that won't be the case.

The boombox antenna seems to work very well, I have been so please with the Stiletto boombox. The sound it produces is really good compared to other boomboxes in the past that SIRIUS has had. Being the junkie that I am, I've had just about everyone of them too. LOL

The reception you were taking about that does seem to change occasionally I think sometimes it has to do with the weather, atmospheric conditions etc. But my reception with the Stiletto compared to older tuners I've used has been GREAT.

Not it was pretty fast actually... sounds stuck.. just do a shut down and restart it. See what that does for you. How is your reception? Usually a slow update generally means not so good reception.

Reception is average. I'm afraid of turning off something thats says "Updating...." . Ill give it 30 mins or so, then shut it off myself, and hope it doesn't crash. Thanks

No, you'll be alright.... But do what makes you feel best. Let me know how it goes once you get finished.

Turn it off, and back on. Went to satellite radio. Read "Updating Sirius", went to 1%,then complete, then went to my channels. (although at first it said I wasn't subscribed, then in 5 seconds read "subscription updated".) Thats for your help!. PS--- This bookmark/artist seek fiasco in replays only concerns SL10 owners right?

The change in functionality is only on the S10. Then again the S100 doesn't have the artist/song seek feature anyway.

Glad the upgrade worked!

Question Update Issues. Please Help.

This Update sounds great. If i could get it to work....( I REALLY want a clock!) Ok so here is my problem.... I tried to download the update through WI-FI and I watched the download % and once it got to 100% it just sat there for about 10 minutes without displaying any screens to continue the update. I turned my stiletto all the way off and back on (Yeah, i do relize ,now, that i should have waited longer for the update to continue)BUT, it still has the old update(no clock ) but now it will not download the update again. it must think i have the most recent update. I have dial up at home but i have wi-fi at the office, I would really like to use the wi-fi if i can so i don't have to wait 3 hours at home. Does any one have any suggestions on how to get it to download again? Thanks.

The stiletto is AWSOME!! Long live sirius
