Yes in order for the dock info to show up it does indeed have to be docked. Once you get it docked you simple go to Setting/Device Info/Device/Dock and it will show you the Dock: version #

If you do not have it in a dock then this information would of course be blank.

One question that I have is that after I downloaded the up-date I checked my device info and the baseband is 00.07.38 not 00.07.46 like everyone says that they have. Will this effect my usage?
This is my first post as well ..... forgiveness please! I also upgraded uneventfully but the broadband reads 00.07.38 and the dock reads 1.00.014.

I unplugged the dock, no change. My original update was with WiFi so I tried to also update with MSS but it said no software updates were available.

Should I be worried? BTW I love my Stiletto 100

Once the Stiletto is upgraded. You should simply be able to just dock it in the home and car kit for them to be upgraded. There should be a very quick notice that says Updated, but it happens very fast and you may have missed it. In some cases you may have to power down the dock, by unplugging it and then docking the Stiletto.

To see if your docks are up to date. Go to Settings/Device/Device Info/

Now look under Dock:

Home: 1.00.022 This is what it should be after the update.
Car: 1.00.013 This is what it should be after the update.

Hope this helps...

I have not heard of this. But I would certainly pull the power of the dock and see if that might reset it.

Also remove remove and reset the battery of the radio to reset this as well.

Otherwise I suggest you call warranty support.

Default loss of fav

This happened to me every time my older JVC updated streams. It really sucked when you loose all your favorites and have to reprogram. The odd thing with the JVC is about 2 weeks into it, the old favorite program channels would re-appear as if nothing happened. I called into customer support, they said that they could not trouble shoot JVC equipment and that I was pretty much SOL. Although whenever they updated streams, I received 5 or so more channels, so it wasn't that bad if I had to reprogram. At least I knew what was new...

Default Battery Charging Probelm After Upgrade

ANYONE HAD ANY BETTERY CHARGING ISSUES AFTER UPGRADE?
3weeks ago exchanged broken S50 for Stiletto 100 worked great
did upgrage last week and slim battery stopped charging on usb connection then in car dock. Sirius said take unit back to get new slim battery did that at Best Buys we just changed out battery so I didn't lose saved content.
Now seeing simular problem with large battery.
If change out completely any way that saved/recorded songs can be transfered to new unit? THANKS

No battery problems at all. Use both the slim and regular batteries daily. Getting the same if not better performance since the update.

Strange I have not had the stuttering at all since the upgrade, but I always make sure the sat chip is OFF. I have had the lagging at certain times, but usually this is right after docking and turning the tuner on. Seems like once it settles into the dock for awhile there is no lagging.

I am at 45% WMA's but I have hours and hours of radio replays and recorded content. I know overall I am darn close to 100%. I have only found one correlation with the stuttering and that it having the sat chipset on while in Library mode.

I think my car dock push buttons respond more slowly as device fills up.?
device says 51% full. I know i can't load anymore songs from pc. I do have quite a few long tracks that are 74 minutes or more. there is some 30 hours of replay's. 60-75 songs of satellite recordings one is over 3 hours.

How long, I generally only take 10 minute trips, and do notice some slight lag on channel changes and menu navigation.

I've never really paid much attention to the time, but I will and let you know. But I would think it would be around 10 minutes or so because I am not a big channel changer.

I went from never having a problem with my Stiletto 10, to having 4 lockups and a very loud strange "noise" in the last 2 days since "ugrading. Is there any way to revert to the old software? The clock is nice, but so is the ability to use the darn thing. Seriously I had to maybe remove my battery 1-2 times since purchasing in November. I have had 4 major lockups, a couple "hiccups" and one instance where the channel acted as if it had very strong interference (I am hardwired on both docks) and emitted some loud screechy crackling noise over the music. Changed channel and it went away.
