I made this offer earlier, if you wish to allow us to do some logging of your unit via your ESN maybe we can see what is going on. If you are interested send me a PM and I will set it up. This is the only way they can tell what is going on as to why the update isn't be offered to your device.

Many get impatient and then do the MSS update...

Default Cool update!

I am so happy they added the clock to the stilleto! the nice thing is to where it says "Library" while playing mp3's after about 3 seconds it switched to the clock! when i am working i dont always have time to run and check the computer for the time which i need to know a lot so this is such a brilliant addition!

I did. It still doesn't see access points with a hidden SSID.

Stumbled across this site today and glad I did. Just updated my Stiletto and the home dock. Will worry about vehicle dock on the way to work as it is about 15 degrees outside now. Thanks for all the helpful info.

Exclamation Scheduled Recordings - Check Them After Update

I noticed after I did the update and after I added a few new scheduled recordings that some of my prior scheduled recordings got pushed ahead by one hour - but not all of them.

The first scheduled recording I had on my list was Howard, Channel 100, from 6 AM - 8 AM. Then afterwards I noticed it got bumped to 7 AM - 9AM.

One other scheduled recording got bumped an hour ahead as well, but my others were fine. I probably have about 8 scheduled records or so, for what it's worth.

I don't suspect this will ever be changed on the Stiletto 100. This maybe something they do on the next device. I think this falls into the same category as them ever upgrading to allow for using (802.11g) instead of (802.11b). Just isn't going to happen.

Default Error Message

I initially tried to update my Stiletto through wi-fi. It probably got to about 30-40% downloaded, but then seemed to reboot itself on its own. I tried updating again over wi-fi with no luck.

So, I decided to try updating through MSS. I have tried twice and each time I get an error message that states: "Stiletto.CouldNotUpdateDeviceException: Could not transfer software update image to the device." This seemed to occur towards the end of the 3rd or 4th file download each time. Anyone else encounter this?

I completed the upgrade without problems using the software. WiFi upgrading did not seem to work for me. I like the clock and bug fixes. But, does anyone know when the high quality wifi streams will work with the Stilletto. The low-fi stream is horrible.

Did you make sure you powered down.. removed the battery.. removing the battery is an important step... give it a few, then reinsert the battery, reboot and now attempt the upgrade again. If you did this and it still failed. Send me a PM and I'll try to help you by getting them to do some logging of your device to see what is happening with it.

When I was testing this upgrade, I did encounter this, but the above mentioned suggestion resolved the issue. Let me know.

The 128kb streaming has no official date for roll out, but from what we gathered from the support chat it will indeed be rolled out at some point.

I personally have no issue with the SQ of the 32kb streaming as I use it daily, but in an office environment, so it doesn't have to be perfect.

Yeah i've tried shutting down, removing the batter, and so forth. I am giving it another try here again. Otherwise, i thougth i might just leave it in wi-fi mode over night and see what happens. I need to get to bed here relatively soon. I was looking forward to the new functionality on the drive to work tomorrow!

Well if you can't get it done, let me know via PM and I'll do what I can to get you some help resolving this.
