Default Stiletto to LINE-IN on PC?

Hi,

Firstly, I'm a new Stiletto and Sirius subscriber, and this site has been invaluable in getting on board with satellite radio! If I had to listen to Toronto terrestrial radio any longer I might've gone postal.

This might be a silly question, but can I not connect my Stiletto via the headphone jack to the LINE-IN jack of my computer and listen to the radio through the computer's speakers that way? I connected a male-to-male 3.5mm cable but am not hearing anything using any type of software thus far. I did some cursory searching online to no avail.

It would make it convenient to listen to at work without going through the Internet.

Thanks in advance and thanks for all of the information available!

Yes, you can, infact, that is what I do and record the stern show with I-Sound. You may just need to change a setting in your sound card.

Double click the speaker icon in the system tray (assuming you are using Windows) to open up the full "master volume" application. There you should find a Line In control (if not, do Options > properties and check the box to see it) and uncheck the Mute box. I find it is checked in most instances.
