Default No Terrestrial signal after update?

I just got the upadate this morning, and now I can't get signal at all. My home dock updated as well, but docked or not, I can't get any signal to the stiletto. I had no problems before, I had almost full terrestrial signal and 1/3 sattelite before the update. I did not change the location of the antenna. Anyone else have this happen? Any suggestions?

Have you done a full shut down and restart yet?

I don't recall seeing anybody else with this problem. Try a full shutdown. I did a recovery to fix a wifi issue. You could try the recovery, but you will lose all of your content, and it may not help.

If you mean full shutdown as in power down and restart with the dog symbol and dots under, then I did that.

Yes he means that, I had to do it twice.

The recover is something you do from the menus Setup->Device->Reset and Erase

Or follow the directions in the Sticky

I just wish I had a repeater close by to see if it is working.

Default Same Problem..

I live in philly and get three bars of terrestrial signal before the updates and now nothing... I have done the restarts, dont want to have to reset the device.. I will check back to see if others have the same issues, or found the solution!

I just did the update myself, and my terrestrial signal dropped to zero. After some fiddling with the antenna, I was able to get reception purely on satellite signal, but previously, I had better terrestrial signal..

I am in Philly too, actually Upper Darby near 69th St. Maybe there is somethig going on around here with the repeaters. My Stiletto is pretty much useless as a reciever now. All i can do is listen to the replays and Wifi. I hope this gets fixed soon.

There is a thread http://www.siriusbackstage.com/forum...ad.php?t=93888 about repeater problems in the Phila area. Nothing to do with the upgrade.

Maybe that's it, dunno... but if it is, I'm probably affected by it as well... only about 20 mins outside Philly... Either way, not good.

Thats got to be it then. This has been a crazy weekend. I had my car dock installed, and it didn't work. Then the update, now the repeater seems to be off. It's really hard to troubleshoot with so many changes going on at the same time. Thanks for the help VDC

The repeaters drop out all the time in Detroit - which is really nice because we've got a freeway up here (I-696) with 3 big tunnels. Usually you can breze though those tunnels and never lose Sirius because of the repeaters, but at least once per week the repeaters are offline for some reason. It's lots of fun losing the signal from the Satellite while you're stuck in the tunnels during a rush hour traffic jam!!
