Default warm stiletto after update?

Did the update fix the problem of the stiletto getting hot from continued sat use? I think someone said a new chipset was included in one of the files...is this right? And if so did it help with out with the amount of work the stiletto has to do
with the codec?
Thanks...

I've noticed improvment but have not seen any official notice that this issue was part of the update/fix granted it's been colder in PA so I can't say for certain. I'd say that it was just judging from my use.

The Sirius satellite chips run warm/hot. This is due to the hardware itself. I can't see it being fixed by a firmware update. Each generation of Sirius chipset runs cooler.

What this did fix was the problem where the satellite chips were not turned of when the user switched to wifi mode.

Default Car Dock

Not sure why, but my SL100 is much hotter after a short time in the car dock than it is after a full day in the home dock.

Is it mounted in front of the heat vent?
