Default Channel Connection Error?

I usually have no issues with my stiletto wi-fi but today I've had it give me a "Connection Error" like 3 times today. It starts by saying "Buffering" for a while and then goes to this "Connection Error" screen. Anyone else getting this? Is it the unit or the network? Anyone have any insight?

I think it is network issue. I have not tried to figure out if it is on the wifi side or my ISP's side.

One quirk I have found it sometimes when it gets into this state you need to change the channel then go back to the one you want to listen to.

I got this once today, this morning. It said connection error, then it reconnected to the wireless network by itself and went back to the channel list menu. I selected the same channel and it played fine for another hour or so until I turned it off because I had other work to do.

I just chalked it up to a fluke maybe with the wireless AP at work or some crazy interference or something. Could have been an intermittent issue with their servers maybe?

That's the exact same problem I've had several times today. It appears to happen soon after you connect to wi-fi

They are reporting no issues with the wifi server. I've listened on Wifi several hours never had any problems. These sort of issues are always terribly hard to pin down.

I get this error when I get too far away from my wireless router at home and the signal gets too weak.

Is it the "Channel Unavailable - No Internet Connection" message. I get that, put it into sleep mode, and power back up. See if it reconnects, if so you have the same bug that both of my Stilettos are doing since the update.

Yea, that's what I'm getting over here. Eventually it reconnects to the wifi...but it takes a few.

They seem to have made the wifi very picky. I get a lot of ip address errors in the wifi settings page, then a reboot and all is well.

I think I will try a low end access point this weekend just to see what it does.

Might be a good idea, we've got those little low end Linksys Access points in our offices, plugged directly into routers and they work perfectly with no drop-outs or errors of any kind. I am at various offices from day to day and I generally listen to wifi at least 6 to 8 hours a day. The only hick up I ever have is the 4 hour auto shut-down.
