aaawwww that poor dog!! We see quite a few dead porcupines on the roads here now, so i'd say our dogs are safe.

Porcupines are one of the most ferocious, best-defended animals on earth. And you know what else is too? A platypus, of all things. They have poisonous spurs that can kill a grown man.

I was unaware of this. Thanks for the data. Never thought of the platypus as such a defensive stalwart in the animal kingdom. Gotta admire the only mammal out there that does not participate in the live birthing process.
