Peter was proud of his Canadian citizenship. We are also proud of you in Canada Peter.

He remained a Canadian until 2003, when he became a U.S. citizen, saying it had nothing to do with his politics — he did it for his family.

Thanks and God bless you Peter!

Network news in the past decade has become a joke, but it was once a well-respected and important part of American life. Sure, the big 3 developed their own biases which showed in their coverage. But they've been replaced by news sources that have even more bias than the big 3 ever had, and which merely pander to the audience and tell them what they want to hear.

Yes, Fox News, I'm talking to you. And the Drudge Report, and Rush, and all the 21st century news "sources."

I think we should all miss the days of Walter Cronkite in his prime.

Oh yeah... And CNN and MSNBC are completely exempt from this "pandering".
