The other day, I was on a message board that talks about development in Des Moines and the suburbs and there was actually a poster there, complaining about the recent price decline in gas, he was going on and on about how the price drop is going to stall the development of gas alternatives (like it was happening anyway) and increase the sale of those bastardly gas guzzling vehicles.

I guess to each their own.

Don't worry...if someone coughs in the Middle East, we'll be back over $3.00/gal in no time!! North Korea will get things going.

$2.60ish here up about 40c in a month for what looks like no real reason. The price of oil hasn't gone up that much. I guess more gouging for the hell of it.

I filled up yesterday and it was $2.89/gal (93 octane) Why is it going up so sharply again? I was under the impression that crude was low.

Good old capitalist price gouging, it is The 89 Billion that Jabba the Hutt made at Exxon last year just wasn't enough to keep his 5 chins growing.
