Yes but you don't get the same flashlight costing more at one Walmart then having it cost more at the other Walmart across the street. Gas you do get that.
I see that here. A 711 next to lowes and the on ramp along with about 15 restaurants is a few cents more than the one down the street. But in reality what does that equal... an extra 60 cents for a full tank? My wife never buys premium but it's only an extra 1.50 to fill up her tank. No much for us, but for the oil companies that's a lot of tanks. And that one that is more expensive is full all the time. The other empty.

$3.09 right now near our house. I remember when I couldn't believe it cost someone $30 to fill the tank of their SUV...now it's costing me that to fill up my small car.

Wasn't fuel around $1.47 when Bush took office?

It's $3.06 or thereabouts in my county, the county to the west is .09 to .10 cheaper a gallon. Don't blame Bush, he doesn't raise the prices and you all know that.

Of course not. Instability in the middle east raises gas prices. Bush has had absolutely no impact on that. Zero. Zip. Nada.

Default How much is your local gas prices near you?

Since I started this thread about 3 years ago, my first post about my local gas price was $2.49 and now it's $4.07 around me. Also I notice that these stores near me Costco is $3.99 and Albertsons gas is $4.03. But I don't use there gas anymore, because I had some bad gas in my car for a while.

CNN replayed some footage they shot earlier this decade, maybe 2002 or 2003. People were whining about the gas going up to $1.29... "I reckon if the price gets above $1.30, we're going to have to curtail our travel."

About 3 minutes into this clip on youtube.
