TX, I hope you are happy with your decision. My employer will give me a company car but they pay $.495 per mile, plus fuel, so it pays me to drive my car. I don't have a car payment so it is cash in my pocket. I guess eventually I'll take them up on a car but I fly more than I drive so I won't use it too much. I'm surprised they give you a choice between manufacturers. I figured they would want you to stick with GM, Ford, etc... I just assumed that they would get a bulk deal with one dealership. I would have went with the Sebring just because, like you, I'm a fan of Mopar

Our company have 40,000 employees worldwide, and some of them get a company car. I could have also gotten a Impala if I paid $1200 when I ordered the car. Since I will only have the car 15-18 months it is hardly worth it. I drive too many miles so I feel that the car is the best deal for me.

That would be tough betting a comfortable car being as tall as you are. I know somebody who is 6'4" and she (yes she) has a hard time getting a car that she is happy with because of her height. My company gets every IT person a company car as well as a company-paid cell. I'm not sure if the other employees know but I'm sure if they do they are jealous. However, we are on call 24/7 incase anything goes wrong. I work for a manufacturing company so when software crashes the whole factory is at a standstill. We do over 1 billion in sales so they can afford it. I would not have gotten an Impala. I've had several as rentals and they were terrible, IMO. I have driven several 07 Taurus and they are shit, as are the 07, can't think of the name, chevy, looks like a van but is an SUV, damn, I can't think of it. The best 07 I've driven this year is the Ford Escape, and I hate Fords. It had great power, great handling, and was just nice overall. This coming week I will have a G6 Sedan which I am excited about trying.

I'd ask for a Prius.

My wife has the Mazda 6 which is very similar to the Ford Fusion, and she really likes it. It should be a fun car to drive, but if it's like the M6 you will feel the road.

I'm a Mopar guy as well, but I'd have gotten the Ford Fusion as well.

When I lived in Los Angeles so few people had cars like these that just about the only time you would see them would be when they are rental cars.

I'm a GM guy, but to be honest, I've never been impressed with the new Malibu.

I don't know anything about the Fusion.

A buddy of mine has a fairly new Sebring. It's a nice car. It rides nice and looks good. He hasn't had any trouble with it. That's why I voted for the Sebring.

I had an older Sebring convertible and I loved it, except it looked like a chick's car I think the new Sebrings are very nice inside and I love the options that are available. It would be nice if you could pick and choose options from each car company to create the ultimate car.

Good luck with the Ford Fusion. It was my choice as well.

I currently have a 1997 Ford F-150 with 300,000 miles on the ORIGINAL ENGINE. Only did the routine maintenance over the years, brakes, tune-up and tires...Gotta love Ford.

My father has a 1978 Dodge Ram with almost 400,000 miles on it, original engine as well. The only thing wrong with it is it needs a new rear axel; it slides in and out around turns. This thing has been through blizzards, floods so high that the fan was hitting floating ice, and it is still truckin' I would take a dodge over a ford any day, well, the older ones, not so sure about the newer ones. Dodge has been having some trouble with their transmissions on the diesels.

My company works the same way. We had a list of Four cars to chose from.

1. Dodge Charger
2. Dogde Magnum
3. Ford Fusion
4. Chevy Imapala.

I took the charger because they weren't offering much on the impala (we have to pay to upgrade the options), I didn't want a station wagon (magnum) and the Fusion is too small. Since the Fusion is a less expensive car, they gave us more options on it and it came pretty loaded. Another rep has one of these and it is actually nice but I like the Charger.

But from your list, I'd take the Sebring. Looks a little cooler both inside and outside and I like Chrysler's. Their engines are great. I have a 2000 LHS in my garage that is LOADED and has 190,000 miles on it and it still runs like new. Great car.

Long story short, my girlfriend just got a 2006 Ford Fusion after her last car got wrecked. It's a really nice car...

It didn't come with the iPod ready thingy, so I'll have to have get something for her so she can listen to the iPod that I got her for Chirstmas...
