The old Battlestar Galactica. I realize the that they are out but I think they are really expensive. Another mini-series I loved was Shogun. I did go to a video store probably 10 years ago to purchase it but it was going to cost over $200 and I thought that was crazy.
Signed,
Sondan

1. It's Garry Shandling's Show
2. Cold Lazarus
3. Karaoke
4. Lipstick On Your Collar
5. Quark
6. Best Week Ever (not really an "old" TV show, but it would be cool to watch all of them back to back)

Talking Moon Over Miami

This show was on for a few months back in '93. It featured little-known actress Ally Walker. I thought she had great potential. The network didn't give the show a fair shot.

The Millionaire. This show was about a guy who traveled the world handing out checks for one million dollars to people selected at random. I never saw a disappointing episode.

Dragnet 1968-1970. Right now only 1967 is out and Dregnet is one of the few shows that actually got better with each new season.

Arliss and Frasier are my two longtime favorites I would like to see more offerings of.

Talking Dragnet

http://www.museum.tv/archives/etv/D/...et/dragnet.htm

I have DVDs of a few episodes from the 1953-1959 era, with Ben Alexander as sidekick Frank Smith. They are good for repeat viewing. If the shows are intentionally amusing, Jack Webb was a genius.

I wonder what became of those 263 episodes.

Dragnet 1967 - The shows are notable for Friday & Gannon coming to grips with the hippie era.

Thumbs up

This is a great topic; it really stimulates the mind and kept me from what I should be doing. In no particular order:

Bizarre (a complete version)
Super Dave (the series)
The Good Life (John Camponera and Drew Carey show that didn't get a long enough shot)
The Great Space Coaster (primarily for Gary Gnu)
Vh1 I love the 70s, 80s, 90s
Daria
A compilation of MTV programs broken down by year or groups of years, e.g. late 80s-early 90s, have something with best of moments from Remote Control (as someone mentioned), Just Say Julie, The Grind, Yo! MTV Raps, MTV Sports, etc.

It's Garry Shandling Show and Herman's Head were good calls. I would definitely like to see both of those. This thread just made me realize that Sledge Hammer! was on DVD; I might have to check that out.

I've not read the whole thread, but has anyone suggested the short-lived VR-5?
That was such a fun show.
