No, I really don't have a Nintendo issue. I haven't really played any video games in over 3 years due to the kids being young and not having the time.

I just don't get who would think that this remote control would be fun to use. I haven't talked to one person that thinks it is a cool idea. Everyone seems to think that it would get old in about 5 seconds. Give me a standard remote that I can sit down with and I'm happy. If I have to run in circles while playing a video game, I'm just going to go outside and play football or golf or whatever sport for real.

If you do a quick search I think you'll see that thousands upon thousands of people think it'd be fun to use, and ask the thousands that waited till midnight last night.

I can't play Tennis or Golf worth a crap, but I guarantee I'll be able to play it on the Wii and have a better time.

I thought the same thing about the remote, thinking it was just a silly gimmick to get people interested, but me and my roommate went out to Kmart last night to get one for him(I went b/c I thought it would be interesting, and to help vouch for him should a problem arise with lines). Trying out Wii Sports today before he started playing Zelda, I think the controller is a great idea. Wii Sports really only touches the tip of what it can do. You can have an actual swordfight in a game without having to only hit one button over and over again. It lets Golf games be played much more realistically than before in my opinion. Working at a bar, I know that people love playing the Golf(Golden Tee Fore) and Bowling games, and this just adds a new aspect to it.

We'll see how you feel after a few weeks and the wii is collecting dust in the corner because you don't want to have to clear the room to play Madden 07

Cool

i have played madden the most and i am always laying in bed while doing so. i dont know what impressions you have of this controller but but simple movements that dont force you to be standing or anything like that work just fine.
