Default PS3 Friday, Wii Sunday

So, the dates are finally upon us.

Will you be standing out in line or test your luck and wait?

I hope if you're wanting a PS3 you'll be standing in line, cause that's the only way you'll get em, especially when all anyone wants to do is get one and resell it on eBay for $5000. You shouldn't have much of a problem finding a Wii.

I've only gotten the chance to play the PS3, I wasn't amazed, and I wiped out any idea of getting one when I saw that some games will retail anywhere from $59-$99. To each his own though.

My wife and I will be standing in line for 2 PS3's Thursday, then friday we will be selling them on Ebay for a really high premium. I want a PS3, but I have the patience to wait until after Christmas, so I will be able to pay for my PS3 with part of the profits of the ones we get early.

I'm holding off on the PS3. I was never a big PS2 fan, only got one after my buddy sold me his and several games dirt cheap, I probably only played it 100 hours in about 3 years! Since I have a 360 I'll just hold off. I'd sooner put the $600 toward a High Def TV since I still have a plain cheap 27".

I guess I will only be putting $300 toward that TV since I will be picking or I should say hanging/camping out at Wal Mart waiting till midnight trying to get a Wii. I'm looking forward to the Wii-mote, hopefully it will work better then that dreaded Powerglove for the original Nintendo. Zelda coming out at launch helps too!

I was at Best Buy last night watching someone playing a motocross game on the PS3 kiosk and the machine froze.

I have no intention of getting a PS3...$600 is just too much for a gaming console. I'm happy with my Xbox 360.

Besides, Gears of War is a total kick ass game (even though I suck at the multiplayer mode).

I will probably get a Wii sometime next year though.

I will probably watch more high definition movies on my PS3 than play games. But a 1,000 dollars for a dedicated Blu-Ray player vs 600 for a multi-media HD gaming machine, that's a no brainer for my needs.

I really can't wait for HD porn!

You will find me roaming around Seattle looking for a Wii Sunday at 12:01am. The local Target here is getting 87 units and the one 2 miles down the road is getting 62. Going to hit Wal-Mart and then to Circuit City then Target and then Toys R Us if I don't get one.

I also hope to get Zelda: Twilight Princess. I was thinking about going as Mario and my buddy is going as Luigi we just need a Wario counterpart to take over the world.

But I guess with Nintendo HQ just up the road they are very excited to see the release of the Wii. Funny how the XBOX 360 team and the Nintendo of America HQ team are in the same town. Probably creates a lot of evil eyes in the Starbucks up here.

Playstation 3 I will wait a few years for that game. Need an HDTV before I would really want the upgrade for the PS3.

While we're in Philadelphia, Dave is going to stay up all night Saturday night into Sunday morning just to be in line for a Nintendo Wii.

I've just learned our local Wal-Mart will be getting 12 PS3s in. The 12 people have been in line since yesterday, anyone that attempts to join the line is turned away because it would obviously be a waste of time. They are being fed food and drinks.

I hear ya man. i will be waiting at my local walmart at on sat night. im not sure how early i should go. i get off work at 5 so im thinking i will stop by on my way home and if there is no line i will come back and start my wait around 8. if that does not work out my local best buy guy told me they were getting 102 wii's. so i have this master plan to wait out there sun morning. however i have work at 8 on sunday and the best buy opens at 9. so im getting my friend to take over my spot in line and pick one up for me. hopefully i will get on sun at 12am and there will be no crazy wait but if not im ready.

ok well here i go again...well i have been thinking about what games to get for the wii on sunday. i want to get three but i think im going to be smart and save some money for food and gass and get two. the three that i am thinking about are:

Zelda
Madden07
Red Steel

Now zelda is a lock there is no way i will leave the store without zelda. however, the madden red steel debate rages on in my mind. i love madden and cant wait to see the new controls but i am also really excited about a first person shooter with the new wii-mote. so what do you guys think? some help would be great.

If you're debating between Red Steel and Madden I'd say go for Madden because it's going to last you longer since football games are such great multiplayer games. Rent Red Steel, beat it, and return it.
