Meat is meat and man has gotta eat.

As long as it is cooked right the only place I draw the line is mountain oysters. I'm not eating anything that has been fucked with.

MMMM sirlion burger soup. I don't hardly eat processed food, but once in a while a big ol' can of sirloin burger soup hits the spot. Even if it's grade "E" meat.

I just chuckle at different cultures...dog is a foodsource in Korea, so be it. I work with people from Kurdistan that don't eat pork because pigs are "filthy animals".

bring on the ham, bacon, and sausage!!

No. Pigs are LIVE STOCK. As in LIVING animals meant to be used for food. Dogs are COMPANIONS as in YOUR BUDDY you use to help retrieve LIVE STOCK.

BIG DIFFERENCE BY FRIEND.

Jules: Hey, sewer rat may taste like pumpkin pie, but I'd never know 'cause I wouldn't eat the filthy motherfucker. Pigs sleep and root in shit. That's a filthy animal. I ain't eat nothin' that ain't got enough sense enough to disregard its own faeces.

Vincent: How about a dog? Dogs eats its own feces.

Jules: I don't eat dog either.

Vincent: Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal?

Jules: I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Vincent: Ah, so by that rationale, if a pig had a better personality, he would cease to be a filthy animal. Is that true?

Jules: Well we'd have to be talkin' about one charmin' motherfuckin' pig. I mean he'd have to be ten times more charmin' than that Arnold on Green Acres, you know what I'm sayin'?

The truth is that pigs are much cleaner than they are given credit for. These giant corporate farms may change things, but when we raised them for 4-H when I was growing up, they would only crap on the exact opposite corner from their food trough. They didn't crap in their mud. They didn't root around in it. Most people just don't look close enough and assume its all mixed together.

RTB: If they raise the dogs in large quantities in a pen, would that make a difference. I don't think the market for canine meat rest solely on dognapped pets... You're inferring your concept of a dog.

That's a silly comparison. Of course we'd all prefer a midget as a pet...
