Why two sets of spacecraft?
I cannot understand why SIRIUS would have dual radios. How can a company that is bleeding red ink, keep two sets of spacecraft in service.
I think they should drop one series of spacecraft, and cut their losses of converting customers from one hardware set to the last one standing.
Even an estimate of 25% of subs being P.O'd for forcing them to buy new hardware and stopping service, cannot be near as expensive as keeping a duplicate set of spacecraft in orbit?
Maybe someone could explain the logic of dual radios and keeping the company afloat?
