You miss the point. It's not so much that I care who owns it. I do not pay for ads on the music streams. Period.

sorry. i did miss your point. i agree...i don't pay for commercials on music streams either!

but even if they got bought out it doesn't mean they will add commercials to the music streams.

that is something important that differentiates them from XM.

And on that, we agree!

60 commercial free music streams. A very important differentiator!

I doubt they would add commercials to music myself. First of all a buyout is total speculation, but if a company builds it's entire customer base based upon commercial free then adds them later, Interpreter wouldn't be the only one bailing out. It would be an exodus imo.

Now that you mention it, Satradiofan, a buyout by echostar might be a good thing. As long as they don't influence programming or add commercials.

Rumors are rumors. Don't panic. Makes me wonder if it did happen if Circuit City and best buy would stop selling Sirius since they have an exclusive partnership with Direct TV though
.

I doubt the exclusive for Sat TV would be extended to Sat Radio. There are too many Head Units that are Sirius Ready that they probably wouldn't want to stop selling.

Money can do strange things.

I am sure an exclusive could be had in any category if enough bucks were paid.

Default Future Growth

Echostar would have a great extra potential for future growth with Sirius aboard. It seems like the satellite radio market could possibly be as successful if not more than satellite tv; no competition with cable.
