It sure feels good to hang on with the price climbing. I bailed out at 2.43, obviously too early. Picking the top or the bottom is never easy, and holding is sometimes the best idea. Good luck!

Yea, I sold mine at 2.00 a few weeks ago, and was gonna buy back in at 1.70, but it never reached 1.70, and has now taken off wihtout me! <cry> <cry> Oh well, there will always been good trading oportunities.

Anyway, I think Ford 04 factory installs is already well known and has been priced into the stock. I seem to remember that information being released a few days before Q2 earnings..

SIRI has been making up a bit more than 5% of total Nasdaq volume the past few days. I wonder how many people who watch Nasdaq have checked out Sirius just because of how much interest there is in this stock.

I'm not looking for any credit. Heck my strategy when I bought was to hang on for the long term. I've certainly done nothing special.

It's just when I start looking at whats ahead, I see no reason to sell.
I suspect after the 3rd Q CC you'll be able to get back in cheaper than it sits today. Although I doubt @ 1.43. (atleast I hope not).

this speculation is like kicking a dead horse. we'll know soon enough -
The 29th is only 8 days away !

Then Manco, you'll be able to say "I told you so"

I don't wish to say that, I only hope I can get back in at a reasonable price. I took a risk, and have just as much a chance of being wrong as right. Rather than getting over 40k+ shares I may have to get a few less

According to the Washinton Post, 6 Oct 03, truckers own 20%
of all sat radios.

That is an interesting stat. I have tried to notice lately when traveling and I rarely see truckers setup with XM or SIRIUS. Perhaps they are in different parts of the country. Still I wonder how they come up with this stat, since they really don't track who is buying. I mean because someone comes into BB or CC doesn't mean they aren't truckers. Now we have the Streamer being sold in truck stops and truck dealers, but you don't necessarily have to be a trucker to buy one.

If 20% of the Satellite radio's are in trucks, you can bet a majority of them are XM since Sirius didn't have a good presence in the truck stops even to this day. The percentage of truckers will only decrease as this continues on the fast path to mainstream.

Somebody must have surveyed truckers to come up with that stat -
Truckers wont get out simply because it's "mainstream" unless of course they have a better option....... which they dont.

When you spend that much time in a vehicle, cable radio must be like heaven.

I don't think Manco meant that trucks would quit getting Sat Radio, just that as it became more mainstream that the general public as a whole would be a larger precentage with Sat Radio.

I agree with you Sat Radio for truckers has to be a dream come true. There is no alternative, short of CD, MP3's etc. YUCK!

I wasn't suggesting Truckers would get out when it goes mainstream. I was just saying their percentage would decrease because every day drivers out number truckers by a large margin. I expect truckers to continue to sign up in the largest numbers as a percentage of their market because it is so compelling for them. I could see 60-80% of truckers having Satellite radio within a couple of years.
