Lucky for you a 20% reduction sounds better than 1.5% of gross sales, because that's the reality of the situation.

Having their losses under control remains to be seen and will be demonstrated over the next three quarters. One thing for sure, any company can control their spending at their will. They can't control Sub adds easily or churns for that matter. In that regard, Sirius will eventually seduce, reduce and erode XM's customer base at this pace.

Stay with me on this one.... I don't care who has a better quarter. I care about who wins the satrad war. Winning at the end of the day will come down to who adds the most cost effective subs and that is determined by who has the best and most demanding content. At THIS point, ( things can change ) that's Sirius.

In the end it's not going to matter. In the end, Siri eats XMSR whole with the upcoming merger.
In the end, both servives will remain and there will NOT ever be a merger.

This statement is crazy. xmsr is adding subs at half the cost of siri and there are just as many people that think xmsr has better content as believe siri does.

you couldnt be just a tad biased by any chance?

"I don't care who has a better quarter. "

And this one statement makes the rest of your post irrelevant. Good financial quarters mean nothing? You wish for Sirius to stay in business! Even if they never make a dime!! Thats Unlikely.

Like I was saying..... Sirius is the dominating company. The Q3 results are the proof. What a steller Sirius year. Too bad XM pulled it into the swamp earlier.

6.3 Mel .... say it isn't so !!!!!!

OH MY ..... didn't XM thrice reduce targets ?

----------

And all this great news BEFORE Q4 ( Sirius Dominated again ) and the transisition of NASCAR.

---------------------------

Swallowed whole I say.

Both win...

It is and will always be a duopoly.

Merger talk makes no sense...

"Winning at the end of the day will come down to who adds the most cost effective subs and that is determined by who has the best and most demanding content."

You are contradicting yourself. "Content" costs money... besides its all subjective. I like music... I could care less about Stern, NFL, MLB or Nascar... I want deeper playlists.
