I know your key phrase here is "PAID" but guess what even those cars sitting on lots are "PAID" subcriptions, even if the cars don't have owners yet.
I guess I should have been more specific in stating that what I mean by paid was actual consumers paying money out of their pocket for the service. Until then they should be considered a promo subscriber and not a paying one the same as xm subscribers receiving retention subscriptions should not be considered paying subscribers. I will still stand by my 5.3-5.5 mil. paying subscribers.

there's a difference sometimes between the way things are done and the way things really are.

Wink Buy at $3.75?

For a buy-and-hold investor, $3.75 is not a bad price. There is no need to be greedy and wait for the exact bottom.

SIRI is almost certain to be driven lower, however, by panicked sellers at some point. Any kind of disappointing news could trigger a massive selloff.

If it gets down to the $3 range, I may grab some shares myself.

I think most of the panic selling is done from here on out.

Default XM could lose the GM contract!!

GM can cancel the XMSR contract with GM
This agreement is subject to renegotiation if four years after the commencement of commercial operations and at two-year intervals thereafter General Motors does not achieve and maintain specified installation levels, starting with 1.24 million units after four years and thereafter increasing by the lesser of 600,000 units per year and amounts proportionate to our share of the satellite digital radio market. There can be no assurance as to the outcome of any such renegotiations. General Motors' exclusivity obligations will discontinue if, four years after we commenced commercial operations and at two-year intervals thereafter, our mobile aftermarket share falls below 40% if there are two satellite radio providers in the United States, or below 33% if there are three satellite radio providers in the United States.

This information came from the SEC (Security Exchange Commission).
