CFBE for one quarter... that sir is worthless.

Lets see where Q1 2007 lands and see what warm and fuzzy we are all left with.

LOL.

THEY PAID THE GUY IN STOCK!

Clueless. Utterly clueless.

You need to be posting in the "I don't understand the basics" forum.

Everybody keeps focusing on the bonus. Isn't passing the subscriber goal a good thing. I hope they pass their goal for next year too....and I hope stern gets another bonus for it. It's better than not meeting goals.

Good post. But once they start selling if you don't have your finger right there and right then... it's too late.

Even though the stern fans think more stock give aways to employees is not big deal it is a MAJOR factor for potential investors. At least at moderate risk levels. And each segment makes it worse.

Where are the thought police when the personal attacks start? They're quick to ban smart people who disagree with with the pumpers on this thread, but personal attacks, oh, they're okay.

I'm sorry, but it is abundantly clear to anyone who understands basic accounting that you do not. You are going on about CFBE which has nothing, whatsoever, to do with including Stern's expenses in '06 operating expenses.

What this DOES mean is that SIRI's loss for '06 will be $100M worse than ANYONE expected, because nobody outside of SIRI supposedly "knew" about this additional payment (well, even though I've been telling this thread and others about it for a year now).

I'm officially raising my SIRI loss estimate from 1.1-1.2 Billion to 1.2-1.3 Billion, if in fact they have accrued this bonus (it does raise the question, however, if they accrued it this year, why they didn't accrue it last year under essentially identical circumstances; the auditors certainly ought to be thinking this through).

We should keep in mind that SIRI missed its guidance by 300K and still paid Stern this bonus.

The facts are that Clayton was desperate and essentially threw money at Stern: "Save us, and we'll give you anything you want".

STERN HAS, TO DATE, RECEIVED 4% OF SIRIUS' EQUITY. That is 4% of your shares and everyone else's.

In addition to the $400 Million in cash he is to be paid over 5 years.

Clayton destroyed Sirius' future.

You are correct. He didn't mean idiot face. He meant to call you douchelips because you are clearly braindead.

STERN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS REVENUE. THE END.

What part of this are you not understanding?

If you own a BEST BUY and the TV salesman is WAY OVER QUOTA but the Appliances salesman has been slacking and losing money, YOU STILL REWARD THE TV SALESMAN FOR DOING HIS PART.

FlagRiot, why not just go back to your original name? A new screen name doesn't make you any brighter.

No, they're the product of dealing with dense, retarded people like you, FlagRiot. You guys were talking about stock dilution. I posted that the bonus was included in the 2006 financials... get it? Oh, sorry, apparently you don't.

Your one sentence contained a non sequitur.

CFBE has nothing to do with "operating costs" when you're paying them with stock.

Whatever. I refuse to be drawn into the kind of childish namecalling and personal attacks that seem to be the order of the day on this well-moderated thread.
