Very true, and thats why I've said that A) merer talks are probably happening as we speak and B) a merger is probably the best thing for both companies now, and for the future.

But to say 'no wonder XM wants to talk about a merger' but leave out the fact that Sirius has been talking merger over and over and over since last summer, is misleading at best.

At the ned of the day, both Sirius and XM will be better as partners than competitors. There was simply too much competition from other media, as fewer people spent less time in their cars, as more people are either working from home or underemployed, as gas prices rose, as their model costs soared.

It wasn't good for anyone longterm.
