Default Quarterly Calls

Does anyone on here listen to our Quarterly calls? I'm curious what the expectations are for members of the forum. We will probably be having it on the 21st this month pending XMs announcement, and I'd like to hear your reactions afterwards.

The calls are normally on during the HS show, right? Sorry, can't be there.

I've listened to most of them live on 125. I missed Q3's because I forgot it was on...

Follow-up: I remember posting when I first realized that SIRI conference calls were aired that I thought doing the same thing for other companies might be interesting... it can't be that expensive to work out deals to broadcast conference calls, and I can see an easy way to listen to conference calls on the highway being well-received by listeners affluent enough to afford satellite radio and who would be very attractive to advertisers.

By the same token, has there been serious thought given to an in-house business/finance news/talk channel? Obviously Jim Cramer (called the Howard Stern of business media... that's simultaneously a compliment and insult to both parties!) would be the ultimate marquee get for that channel, and it would give a nice place to have Dave Ramsey (no relation, AFAIK). Financial services firms would be lining up to advertise on such a channel. An NFL Radio for money! CNBC is far too much visual ("look at the chart..."), and Bloomberg is too much "just the facts, ma'am".

re: We will probably be having it on the 21st this month pending XMs announcement,

Why would XM's CC date have anything to do with SIRI's?

Thanks

'Cause SIRI has always announced after XMSR does.

Why are they doing that? Does he feel he always has to have to the last word or something?

What happens if xm decides they don't want to play along?

He likes to see what analysts are focused on and prepare answers for questions that IR was not expecting.
