Post WTD 2008 Week 6 - 14 Classic Vinyl

Hold your lighters in the air for the encore. It's all classic rock of the '60s and '70s when music came on vinyl. The Rolling Stones, Led Zep, The Who, The Doors and many more. Drop the needle on Classic Vinyl!

What we play: Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company and many more.

Beatles Fab Foursome
Weekdays 9 am ET
It could be one from John, one from Paul, one from George, and yes, even one from Ringo. It might be four from Paul, or two from John and two from George. Whatever the combination, SIRIUS host and Beatles expert Dennis Elsas can't just "Let It Be" with only one, two or three songs Beatle songs. Every weekday, Dennis will take you down "The Long and Winding Road," with four songs in a row from the Fab Four, only on Classic Vinyl.

Classic Vinyl – LIVE from The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum!
Wednesdays - Sundays 10 am – 1 pm ET
Classic Vinyl is proud to broadcast, LIVE, from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio! We've seen some cool Hendrix posters in radio studios – but when SIRIUS DJ Dusty Street goes to work, she gets to walk by displays with Jimi's guitars, stage clothes, and hand-written lyrics at the "office"! Surrounded by these and many other cool artifacts, she brings you the best music from rock's vinyl era! And if you're visiting the Museum, stop by and say hi.

Rock Block Hall of Fame
Weekdays 9 pm ET
Classic Vinyl takes you to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Carol Miller picks a different Hall of Famer each week and rolls a triple play from a legend of classic rock. Carol chooses the all-stars, but you pick the songs! Just call 877-33–SIRIUS and tell Carol what song you would like to hear.
08/04 The Who
08/11 John Lennon

Unhappy

This is one of my presets, but I never listen to it...

I enjoy the music of the '60s & early '70s. For some reason I would rather hear that music on the decade channels instead of on this one.

Ask someone who used to have XM, I would hear a song like Hey Joe one XM 6. I didn't have to listen to the classic rock channels to hear it. I can't remember if I've ever heard Hey Joe on Sirius 6.

I'm going to add Shade 45 to my presets. This channel most likely will be the one to go...
