Thumbs up

I didn't realize that we had this channel on WTD until last week. I've been listening for the past week.

They play some good stuff on this channel. I don't know if I will make this a preset, but I'm willing to put it on every now and then...

I haven't had any exposure to bluegrass until this past week. After some solid listens, I didn't mind it at all. I prefer this genre MUCH more than copuntry music, however, I can see many similarities.

I agree with what many people stated above - the musicians are simply amazing. Great instrumentals. However, at 'times', the vocals just got to me. A lot of the singers just had that "nasel" sound to it that I just can only take in small doses. I did hear the Gospel Train on Sunday and even though I don't like a lot of gospel music, I did enjoy that program.

Not sure if I will make it a preset, but I will be back again!

Bluegrass isn't as bad as some people think.

Thanks to artists like Alison Krauss (and the garbage coming out of Nashville that some people call country music), bluegrass is enjoying something of a revival.

It's not going to take the music world by storm, but there's no denying that the genre has been gaining new fans over the last decade or so.

This channel is already my #27 preset, where it will probably remain. I'm glad Siri has a bluegrass channel, and I'll give them a grade of B for the way they program it.

It's a good, not great, channel.
