Default WTD 2006 Week 21 - 18 The Spectrum

Rock 'n Roll both new and old from artists who've stood the test of time like The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, U2 and The Dave Matthews Band. Plus, quality rock from credible new artists that fit right in with your faves.

I listen to The Spectrum occasionally. They play a lot of great songs, and the playlist seems pretty big. They lose me sometimes when they play newer music that I'm just not in to. I do like, however, that The Spectrum plays new songs from older, established artists like Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Bob Seger, etc.

Of all the Sirius music channels, this is the one that most closely matches my CD collection. A mix of the old and the new. I think it's really good. They go a lot deeper than the typical "Triple A" FM station. The only thing that would make it better would be if they played a bit more hard rock. But overall, this is a great channel.

The Spectrum.... Not sure what I can say about this station....

I gave it some long listens over this past week with Walk The Dog, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. However, my only problem is I can't exactly put my finger on its format. I liked most of the music that they spun, and the playlist seems extensive (from what I heard anyway), however, I couldn't put my finger on exactly what the format was trying to accomplish. I kept thinking it was much like Little Stevie's station...

Not sure if i know the difference...

Regardless, I enjoyed it and I will be back.

Thumbs up

The Spectrum is one of my favorite channels. It's also one of my A presets. It is going to stay there no matter what.

I used to like listening to Nordic Rox, for the past couple of months, I've been forgetting to listen to it...

I'm kind of surprised that they haven't used this channel as a single artist channel, instead of The Bridge...

Spectrum is an "A" preset for me. I periodically listen to it at work. They play mostly familliar cuts...as opposed to Coffee House which is more eclectic, in my opinion. I like the occasional reggae cut they throw in there. Nice mellow rock blend.

It's a good station. I'm a listener, but it's only on my B presets. It's one of those channels I tune in now and then when I want something different.
