I really like the music they play on this station. Still, I was debating if this station deserved a 5. This station is jockless. With a jazz station, I appreciate a good dj who can tell us something about the musicians.

Still, I'll give it a 5. A great station.

I like a few jazz songs and the station does sound very relaxing, I could enjoy some of this music again

Planet Jazz is alright. I much prefer the traditional jazz of Pure Jazz.
I seem to lose interest in this music pretty quickly; it might be okay for me as background music. It was so long ago that we walked the dog over to Jazz Cafe, I'm not sure which I'd prefer between the two.

I honestly don't see the need for this channel. The style of music found here occupies a space somewhere between the music found on Jazz Cafe and that found on Spa. If we lost this channel, people could listen to one of those two other channels and not miss much. I say get rid of this one to make room for other styles that are under-represented.

Interesting to say the least. I am not a huge jazz fan by any means, so I can't really comment on this type of music, its format, the playlist depth, etc.

However, having this station on in the background over the week, was fine. I really liked to have it on, while i was relaxing and going to bed. Interesting. And for that matter, i can certainly see myself checking back in from time to time.

I like this channel. I do listen to it a bit at work. But I prefer Jazz Cafe more. I agree with an earlier poster who said the channel could use some jocks.
